What I have in mine (long) By CC

I have put all my letters of recommendation, evaluations, sample lesson plans from all the grades I have taught in including student teaching, student work to go along with the lesson plans, rubrics that I have created to| show the standards I have evaluated my students on (I included the ones from other states that I have taught in to show that I can look at the state standards no matter what state I live in)I also have some evidence of how I prepared my students for the state mandated tests and the results (I have deleted the school name and any other information that can be used for identification of individuals)and |
| pictures of my classrooms. Yes my portfolio is large but I have found it very handy. I do not show all of it when I am interviewing but if they ask a question about a certain area that I have in my portfolio I can open up to it and show them. I have a friend who has put her portfolio on the web and she has made up business cards which she has attached to her paperwork stating the address so that potential employers can look at her info on thier time and focus purely on the interview. She has had good responses to this because it shows that she is technology aware and it comes in handy in the classroom. I hope that this is helpful to you.
