I used animal print paper to punch out the letters for my boards.
I took brown butcher paper and twisted it very tightly to make a vine then I wrapped silk ivy around it and hung 2 monkeys that you can get free from some website that I can't remember right now, but they advertise in Instructor Magazine. I also hung a safari hat on the board (from a party supply store). The kids wrote their summer adventure stories on binoculars that I drew and copied. When then took their picture and cut it out in a circle and taped it into one of the lenses on the binoculars. I used the boarders with the animals prints. It was a fun theme, but next year I think I am switching to frogs!
