Awards idea

I'm not sure if you want this to be a surprise, but if not how about have the students give their input. One year I gave a class roster to each student. Each student had to write next to each student's name what type of award they should get. That way you can have 26 ideas for each student depending on your class size.
This helped make up various awards.
