Kite Flying

We have kite flying day. Everyone brings a kite and we spend the whole afternoon flying kites. It is so fun! The older kids can help the younger ones. Also kites can be picked up for 2-5$. Each teacher bought 1 or 2 extras so no one would be left out. Just be prepared with scissors and extra string,possibly even a few extra handles. When someone's kite breaks or gets lost, then they become a helper. As a side note, if you do fly kites make sure to check for power lines around your school.
