Clip to ScrapBook
My class is completing a last novel study (Little House on the Prairie). We are doing acute book projects where each piece of a paper sandwich is a description of a story element and a paragraph. In math, we are "previewing" fourth grade advanced long division and multiplication. For each times table they learned, they get a piece of a sundae picture which they can trade in at an icecream party for sundae ingredients. They are making large paper dolls of themselves in 1800's pioneer clothing, with their faces as digital camera images. I am playing a variety of spelling and math games with them each day, and we are writing letters to President Bush (really mailing them off too!)
Have a great summer!
