I appreciate your response, as well as your opinion, but was the sarcasm really necessary? I have emergency certification, and I received no training at all in substitute teaching. So I am trying to do my best just by winging it. And it's not easy to do, considering the class that I was given and the lack of any lesson plans. Everyone told me at the end of the day that I did a fine job, because I did something that no other sub has done with this class all year... I remained there and did not walk out on them. There is no better way to gain experience fast than being thrust into situations like I was this past week.
