read aloud

Clip to ScrapBook
anne,
Try reading a book to your class (something unusual they hopefully haven't heard). Place a plain book cover on the book so they can't see the title. Read the story, but don't tell the title and don't show the pictures. When your finished -let each child draw what they think the title of the book is and how the cover looks. Show the cover and title and compare it with the children's ideas.
Have fun!
-joon
