Yes, I am going to be back with brand new 4th graders in the fall. By now (after 1.5 years together) I adore my 5th graders, but I can't help but feel excited about starting over with new 4th graders and REALLY implementing
GR & W.
I am so proud of you for having the courage to "pilot" your changes alone. I am also very glad your principal is behind you. Don't worry about your parents. Just level with them. Let them know why you've decided to make these changes. I believe in parents and believe they will support you.
I'd love to continue to bounce ideas around with you. Since we'll

both be 4th, I think we can help one another. We just found out that we are going to be getting a new principal next year, so I don't know what kinds of changes may be down the pike for me. One thing I am sure of though. I am sure we can both use all the wisdom and support we can get from each other.

I look forward to reading, discussing, and learning together. I too am soooooooooo thankful for these Boards.
