Hi, Debbie!

No, I am sorry to say I will not be attending the IRA conference this year. I received the magazine, and I agree it sounds great. I went to New Orleans for last years' conference and stayed all week long!

I have been off the Boards for several days because of all the busy craziness in my life. I am doing third-quarter midterms tonight, and it seems like it was just yesterday when I posted that I'd just done grade cards for second quarter. I have 4 meetings (out of 5 days and I HATE MEETINGS!!!!) after school this week, a morning meeting on Friday,

and Hockey tomorrow morning at 8:00!!!! Those morning tournaments are such a wonderful way to start the day -- NOT! The people who plan these events obviously do not have to spend the rest of the day in the classroom with the kids who either win or lose their games. Ooops, pardon my venting, that's a whole other Board.

I hope to get back to GR&W soon. I don't know what happened to our title and summary. I was shocked to find that we are still nameless. I wonder if the request has to come from Samantha who initiated the Board in the beginning? I don't think that should be the case, but it's just a thought -- an attempt to understand why George (who is usually so attentive and prompt) has not yet responded to your request. Whatever the case, Debbie, you tried. Thanks for that.
