You're right!

Yes, and I am trying hard to make it work. I guess I just wish I could have the space and the wonderful time block. However, I think our ability grouping for reading is quite possibly one of my biggest obstacles. I find that the low-ability readers are not only at risk academically but behaviorally, also. It's sometimes extremely difficult to work with a small group on a much needed concept while others are not on task as they should be. This is sure frustrating! Often, I feel I've taught more with the whole group! Any ideas on this issue??
