Time management
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi all,
One thing that has REALLY kept ME on track is to post the day's schedule on the board...groups, times, etc. And guess who reminds me when it's time to switch to Writer's Workshop...the kids!
On your thoughts about what's what, Literature conversations can be a form of guided reading. Literature conversations (genre studies are focused literature conversations-you might introduce them during an interactive read aloud then continue during RW) at the same time as the kids are doing Reader's Workshop. And I've combined my content area studies during the Math/Sci block or LAB so we have large blocks of time. Does this make sense? ;-D
