I'm with you Elaine! I think I could get the blocks of time in, but I'd need some time to get organized. We're getting a new math curriculum next year and I'm pretty sure it will be one that will require quite a bit of preparation time for that first year. A second grade teacher in our district started GR this year and she spends A LOT of time getting ready. She does think it will be much easier next year of course, with most of the work done and leveled books found. Since I'm not going to fully implement the program until next year, my "thought provoking" question is - what parts do you think I should try to organize or experiment with yet this year?
