Thought provoking Q.
By Elaine

Clip to ScrapBook
Debbie,

I love a question that makes me think a little at 7:30 am! Here is all I would need: MORE INSTRUCTION TIME! I know I can't use that as an excuse for not doing my best, but I am frustrated about the time issue
because it's something over which I have no control. It isn't as though all I need to do is move some things around and then I'll have more time. Our state mandates 5 hours Soc. St. and Sci. and Math per week. I can't shortcut those areas. I have gotten lots of insight on how I can integrate GR with S.S. and Sci. However, now I need to get my hands on more nonfiction trade books for
those areas. I determined that I'd make 2002 the year of the nonfiction books, and I've been using my Scholastic points to collect multiple copies of many historical trade books. So, I feel I'm on the right track. What do you think, Debbie?

Elaine

P.S. I got your email but just have not had time to reply -- grade cards, too -- ugh!!!!!
