I would love a rooom like Erica's!! I had read that portion over the summer and I organized my books in baskets by genre and author. I find it very helpful to guide the students in choosing their books. My literacy block is about 2 - 2 1/2 hours a day. (Sometime I have two specials in the morning). Also, I think I need to spend more time on Math that Erica's schedule. Forty-five minutes is just not enough. I find chapter 1-3 helpful but more of an overview. I think the next chapters will be more in depth with the how-tos. What did people think?
