When you went to all those stores, did you cehck the shelves, or just ask? I know at my Barnes & Noble, the saleslady said it wasn't in their computer catalog at all, but I did find one copy on a shelf as I was looking for something else. When you go to pick up the copy you ordered, make sure to ask about a teacher discount! I'm in kind of the same boat as you-- I am lucky enough to teach in a school that offered to buy us our own copies of the book, but something went wrong with the order (we made it before Thanksgiving), and we are yet to receive them! Augh! I don't want to go out and spend more money on another copy, but I'm getting anxious!
