Hi Elaine,
I guess my post DID go through to you regarding the Harvey vs. Robb debate, so you can check it out there. I also like the Robb book because I got it FREE when I attended a Scholastic Breakfast and an IRA national
convention a couple of years ago! That always helps...but it's not the real reason I enjoy the book. Like I said on my post earlier, it's easy to use and read and I've been able to pull material to give to parents from it.

Boo to the root canal. I need to reread some of my reading recovery material so it's fresh in my mind. I'm anxious to see how those little first graders

do after 2 weeks away from daily reading.
I only have 3 more weeks with them, then I have to start with 4 new students. I have a few extra days...we return on the 7th. I brought home a lot with good intentions but I have really enjoyed doing nothing. I will probably start Wednesday going over plans.

Looking forward to more discussions...
