Clip to ScrapBook
This is my first year in using this curriculum, and while it took a while to get used to the format, I feel my kids are learning more than with the traditional text from previous years. The spiraling was somewhat monatonous
at first, but give it time and have faith. It's been great for those students who may not get it the first time, but when you come back to it later it is like light bulbs coming on! I find that the lessons do take a little while, but believe that next year I will be more confident and comfortable, plus the students will have had the format already for a year. I do believe it should
be implemented through a phasing process. It is a tough one to implement without some prior knowledge. It is a good balance between traditional and abstract math. I like the number of different assessments it provides and the type of assessments. Hope this helps a bit!
