Differentiated Instruction in Mathematics
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Stacy,
Differentiated instruction might be teaching different concepts, giving different number ranges or supporting different ways to solve a particular problem. There are two books I'd suggest you get to help you with your grouping endeavors-the NCTM Principles and Standards book, and Cognitively Guided Instruction book. Both can be found on the NCTM website. They each have CD roms with examples, etc. Anything by Marilyn Burns would also help you plan for your groups. If you have questions as you go, please post again or email. Best of luck, ;-D
