Helping - and + comprehension

My students had difficulty figuring out the two.
So we used to take five-ten minutes a day to act it out. Example Bob and Joe were jumping on the trampoline when a big wind came up and pushed Joe of the trampoline. Or Mary, Joe, and Bob were jumping on the trampoline when Kim and Lee came over and started jumping to.
The kids would come up to the front of the room and actually jump up and down. I would model the question for them on the board.
