Investigations
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Erica,
I piloted Investigations for the district on our last adoption trials. I really liked it as a supplement, but it was too 'left' for our district at the time, we chose Trailblazers and SAXON!?!?! Go figure!!!
You don't happen to teach in the Madison District in Phoenix, do you?
I'd suggest you get Opening Eyes to Mathematics, which isn't too expensive for a supplement...it's published by Math Learning Center (but I can't find it on my shelf right now, so if you need more info, I'll need to pull it.) The lessons suggested for teaching multiplication as well as fractions are great. Lots
of activities presented to support your mathematicians in constructing their own strategies. Also see CGI for additional supports in problem solving in number operations. Best of luck, ;-D
