Clip to ScrapBook
When I had to assemble a portfolio the only advice I was given was "Don't throw anything away." Pretty good advice... at first. That means: samples of kid's work, lesson plans that went well, photographs of you working with kids, important developments along the way that are making you a great teacher... Basically, from what I know a portfolio should show growth.
Good advice to ask your dept. though, because everyone has a different idea as to what a portfolio should contain and the message it should convey.
GOODLUCK!
