In my district when we build a new school we make sure that every thing is equal. We are currently building a new high school and we will be providing all the things that the 2 current high schools have. The only
difference will be the age of the building and their sizes. Will this make for equality yes. Now if you're compairing what we offer in our district with an urban high school then we are not equal. Our district has more money to spend per pupil This has been a BIG arguement in the state of Michigan and new laws were formed to close that inequality of spending. Now the poorer districts

are closer to the richer districts in per pupil funding but they are still not equal. Do schools have comparable test results. yes and no. There are so many variables here that I could go on all day. Family Income is a big factor in test results so are single vs non single parent homes....see what I mean?

No I am not in favor of vouchers for church schools. I believe that you should have a choice but if you choose your church school then you know before hand that you are choosing to pay. I know the arguements for esscaping a bad neighborhood school or a bad district but then I question the parental involvement. Are they active in school activities? Do they support the teacher, follow through on homework assignments etc? Remember charter schools do not charge so if the neighborhood school is so bad there are other free choices.

I do not think I treat boys and girls equally but only because I have twice the amount of boys than girls and my girls are very quiet shy types. I know the boys get more attention for behavior types of problems....
