I know how you feel

I just recently graduated with a B.S. in psychology. I was premed, which means I spent my years in college working my tail off to get into medical school. It wasn't until after I was accepted at two medical schools that I realized how unhappy I was and that what I really wanted to do was teach elementary school. At first, I also felt like I had thrown away four years of my life. I now realize that all my experiences have been extremely important and have helped me to grow and become a stronger person. I am now grateful that I made this decision before I spent another 4 years of my life down the wrong path. Do what your heart tells you to do and you will be happy. I know I am!
