Sorry, I couldn't help myself! Blame eight hours of meetings and a wicked sense of humor.

Acrylic frames are clear plastic plexiglass frames that most people use to put their 8X10's in. They're made from a single piece
of plexiglass that is bent to form a front, back and bottom stand. So, if you were to put a photo in one it would look like the photo was just standing on your desk (you've seen those, right?) Anyway, teachers use them to put directions to a center, assignments, etc. in. You can buy them at discount places like K-mart (if it's still in business...) or you can get them in teacher supply
catalogs and stores.

P.S. I know how you feel when someone mentions something you've never heard of before. Sometimes it's just because the name is different in different regions. I'm glad you felt comfortable enough to ask!
