centers By Laur

Thanks so much everyone. I went out today and picked up a few things to use from all of your ideas. Hopefully this week, I will get my centers completely organized so I can start going over instructions with my class and writing them. Sara, I just wanted to ask you a couple questions. What kinds of centers do you have? I like the idea of changing them every so often, but is that a lot of work? I did put together a big binder for them to keep their center contracts in, and I do have a date stamper. I really like that idea. What do you include in your contract? I'm also going to have them use folders | | as well. I think I just have too many ideas and don't know how to put them all together. It's my first year teaching! I decided to divide my centers, have some that are portable in baskets for when work is done early. I want to have the other ones that are at tables or places in the room that I can change each week and have a time set aside for them to visit centers. I like the jobs for centers you used too. That would definitely be helpful. I just wanted to see what kinds of things you put together for your centers, because you sound really consistent. I am new so I am still lacking on some materials. I do buy a lot, but don't want to have to. Thanks a bunch everyone again, I really really appreciate it! Laur :o)
