quiet centres

Thanks for the idea. I tried it and it works great. As they begin I give them a few minutes to settle in and then I say that Toutou (French pet name for a stuffed animal) is looking for a new home. He has never had to move to another table so at least it keeps that table focused. I then put a bear sticker on the groups name tag for centres. I'm not sure what they think will happen with all the stickers but it's enough for them right now so I'm going to leave it at that. Give it a try some time.
