While we're on the subject, has anybody tried role playing the three branches of government with the kids? Getting the kids into groups to do this? I was thinking of having a presidential election first. Then have the kids come up with "laws" for the classroom (legislative branch). The president can veto the "laws" or approve of them. I would allow the Supreme Court to decide if they're fair. I think this would be a great way to reinforce the rules at this point in the year.
