We have to teach to the math and reading test, so we need every opportunity for kids to learn math and reading skills. In social studies, once we were finished with the unit, we created a fractions squares quilt. On the back of each fraction square quilt piece, we wrote facts which we learned about the unit. The kids enjoyed this activity.
