I was nice today

I smiled and said hello to her today, and do you know what she did??? She, in front of a parent, told me she was not recieving respect from me. I have decided to turn the other cheek, but I will be damned if I am treated
like dirt. I will be praying for the patience to deal with her, but my principal has decided to take care of it from now on. I also have two school board members on my side and are not pleased with her. I also feel that I do not have to give everyone respect, but that you earn respect. The family will not even call our priest "father" they call him by his first name. They have told

their children they do not have to respect the teachers! I feel that this is extremly disrespectful. This is not the first catholic school I have worked at, so I know the politics and play them well.
