We make Advent wreaths the first Mon of Advent. Use a styrofoam plate--small size-- and 4 birthday candles. I use 3 white and 1 pink or I've used blue and pink. We put modeling clay around the base of the candle and glue that to the plate. Then glue some artificial greenery around the edge of the plate. Explain the significance of the candles and greenery to them. We've also made Advent calendars of various types, help prayer services and as a service project we walked around our town and had a pop can pickup. We used the money from the cans to buy presents for kids on a Christmas Wish Tree. Hope this helps!
