What I think
By 2nd career sped teacher

It may be difficult to get the inclusion job you want BUT high school sped is NOT easy and REALLY takes a special kind of person.

If you want elementary I would wait for an elementary position and try to work it into an inclusion job. That is what I am doing- I have been working on my principal all year to let me do inclusion next year and HOPEFULLY I have her sold on the idea.

I guess what I am saying is that you should wait for a job offer that comes closest to what you are looking for. DON'T take something that you may end up hating. Teaching is hard enough- especially sped with all the paperwork it is even worse if you hate the job you are in.
