Papers By L.P.

Most of their work I send home but I use three prong folders for their journals and math pages. These are stored together in small plastic baskets that are just the right length for papers. (My K's can read names now so| they help pass out.) I picked up about six of them at Big Lots for 99 cents apiece. I kept one for my table to hold files and papers that pertain to our current theme (easier than digging them out of the file every time I need them). I use the extras for holding center materials since my centers are used for different subjects all day long (sometimes I use our regular tables for centers, | | too, with this method). If you wanted to invest in a class set, it would still be affordable. They could hold file folders or the pronged folders which also have pockets. Plastic dishpans would also work for your kids but are bulkier. A set of them came with my classroom and I use them to sort my themed books on the shelves. I need to label them yet so the kids can get the books back in the right bins. I hope some of this helps you, Jeanne.
