Tables
By L.P.

Clip to ScrapBook
Tables work great. The teacher who had the room before me had those individual desks so I requested tables for my K's because at their grade level they play with everything. Their supplies are kept in a central storage bin with a handle that sits in the middle of the table. If someone is playing with things, or cutting (I have one student who loves to make "snow"), I simply lift the bin off and put it somewhere else. I couldn't imagine letting them have a whole desk full of things to rummage in. They would be doing that instead of their work. I let them have "free time" everyday so they do get their play time in.
