Laughter is the Best Medicine!
By Jeanne

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Sue,
I don't know about you, but we have one more week until Christmas break. "My" second graders have been excited and have lots of "bees in their bonnets" and "ants in their pants!" I try to find humor in anything
that I can possible imagine right now, if for nothing else but to just keep my sanity.
I love my kids, but WHEW! Is it Friday yet~!? I tease around w/ my students a lot with the tuck tape thing. In fact, I have a picture of a fourth grade group of kids of mine, w/ tuck tape over their mouths. These fourth grade kids just wanted to show me that they were really trying to be
calm and do their work.
I show this picture many times to my 2nd graders for a joke. I say to them, "This is what will happen to you if you don't settle down and do your work!" Do these words ring a bell? :-)
Let's keep laughing. We know that we-teachers are serious about educating our kids. Sometime ya just can't get all "white knuckled" about everything.
Jeanne
