worn out
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
I used to get worn out. I used to spend far more energy than I really had. I used to spend my entire weekends, even, doing schoolwork, dreaming of perfect lessons, calling parents, e-mailing colleagues. I had no life at all. In time, I grew to hate it.

Now I manage to do everything I need to do and still have time for myself. You really do have to MAKE time for yourself, or you will go crazy.
Teachers over the age of 35 (as I suspect most of us are), need to put up their feet and relax in the evenings. Take time to read a book, take time to enjoy a walk at the mall.

Take it from me:If you didn't get every single one of those papers corrected today, they'll still be there tomorrow! LOL
