I must have missed something. If the guy is hanging out with Mrs. Pushyface, why does she go on about your age and his age? Was he subbing in your room that day? What is her age in comparison to his? She could be jealous. Or, she could be making a crazy link between him and you to try to show that a link between the guy and herself (Mrs. Pushyface) would hopefully seem just as far-fetched.
