Helping At Risk students"
By jacqui

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Kim, i teach: high risk, mentally ill, court refered juveniles, hospital level, residential treatment ,ages 12 - 19. Hands-on-activities combined with positive reinforcers(school store, diaries, makeup, food, etc,), humor, flexibliliy, a computer lab, and and interesting curriculum helps to engage my students . They are a tough audience. I've been working with difficult students for about 21 yrs and I'm never bored! I wouldn't change with anyone. One day at a time...you never know who's life your may impact.
