Guided Reading
By Erica

Clip to ScrapBook
I am so sorry it took me so long to respond! My school district purchased a few of the Guided Reading Kits through Scholastic. The kits go from Level A (Emergent readers) to Level T (Fifth grade). The wonderful team at
my school were good enough to copy each of the packets per grade level. That is how I got my hands on it. From what I have heard, the whole kit is quite costly. If you are organizing for the entire school and have a budjet of some sort, then I would say it is definately worth it to purchase. If you would like, I could photocopy one of the Levels and mail it to you so that you can determine
if it is worth it or not. I think that in conjunction with talking to other professionals about how to better conduct guided reading groups the program can be very helpful. Please e-mail me if you would like to further discuss the program, etc. Happy Holidays!- Erica
