I wish as well that there would be more discussions about how teachers use the Guided Reading program. I also feel that literacy discussions would be so helpful. Not to complain (either), but I sometimes feel that people are more willing to ask for suggestions on certain books without even bothering to take a look for themselves. A simple search on this website would help people find questions or lesson plans that go with particular books! I don't mind helping others at all. I just wish that instead of asking all the time, people would be willing to share and respond more frequently! I am behind your idea 100% Elaine. Maybe we do need another board!
