Be sure to check out the Mem Fox website (memfox.com) I use the story Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge. This is a really sweet story about an elderly person losing her memory. We make memory boxes too and the students add things that are special to them and have stories attached to share. You could also go visit elderly people at the nursing/retirement home.
