My students are just loving RUNNING OUT OF TIME. We read aloud at the end of the day, and they are soooooo disappointed when it's time to stop reading. Jessie was just going down into the tunnel to go out into the Outside when we had to stop on Friday. I heard several students say that it just wasn't fair that we had to stop when everything was getting so exciting. I can't tell you how long it's been since my big, macho 5th graders have been this excited about reading aloud! Thanks again for tipping me off about it. I'll have to check out Hesse's WITNESS just to see if I agree with you. I loved JUST JUICE and OUT OF THE DUST. Elaine
