Start Subbing!

I was a December graduate a four years ago. I started subbing right away. I got a subbing job every day--and yep, I hated subbing! I loved being in the classroom but not knowing the people or having to go to different schools each day was tough. But through subbing, I learned of a long-term subbing position that would run from March through the end of the year. That night I got a call from the subbing hotline to sub at that school the next day. I went and took my resume. I interviewed for that position a few weeks later and got it. Then at the end of the year, I was hired for the next year as a teacher. I'm still teaching there! I think you have to get your foot in the door and subbing is the best way! Good luck to you!
