National Teacher Exam

I took the NTE's, which I believe is short for National Teacher Exam (makes sense, I guess )and my results of the test came with a booklet. That booklet showed different states, what their tests were, etc. Some states accept the NTE's, some make you take that and another test, some make you take an entirely different test. To answer your question,taking the NTE's did allow you to apply for teacher certification in other states if you passed w/ a certain score.
