Piece of cake!

Clip to ScrapBook
Brenda,
I just went through an initial screening interview last week. I am applying in a large metropolitan district and I was told to approach this interview as my chance to give a great first impression to the
district. My district uses these interviews to see if they feel my personality and attitudes matches up to what they are looking for in certified staff. For me, it was a series of general questions about myself, my education, why I want to teach, and a few questions about how I would handle routine situations in a classroom. I left my interview feeling very good about the experience.
I was told on the spot that they feel I would be an asset to their district and told me to keep watching for a job posting that I would be interested in. So...don't stress over this. Just be yourself and dig deep inside to be ready to tell them why you chose this very challenging profession. Good Luck!
