It's your decision!

Beth, being certified in both regular ed and special ed is a great thing. i am student teaching now and will graduate dually certified. it's your decision to make to switch to special education and you should not feel guilty or bad about it in any way. special educators are definately more in demand, as not everyone has the strength and heart to handle a special education classroom! good luck with the switch!
