Fsh Kill

I, too, have an aquarium in my classroom. It was a present from a well-meaning boyfriend who thought I would love it (I asked for a fish bowl and a goldfish). He bought a twenty gallon tank with heater, etc. Yikes! So, I live in the smallest apartment ever built and do not have room for this tank. I brought it in my room. Kids love it. Paretns love it. Other tachers love it. Yet no one volunteers to clean the tank, scoop out the dead fish, etc. What a surprise. I'm down to two fish and think I may keep it that way until the end of the year. I'm tired of excited little voices telling me in the middle of class that we've had another death.
