Recess Duty

If it makes you feel any better, I eat lunch with my students every day, supervise students for recess, and have no break in the school day until 2:30 when we have a 30 minute PE period. (We're thrilled for that since this is the first year we've had someone do PE.)

I came from a larger school where my last year I was off from 11:00-12:40 every day. You can certainly be more prepared with a greater prep time, but you do what you have to do.
