principal's pets

Clip to ScrapBook
While we don't seem to have favored grade levels, we do have favored teachers. We have a kindergarten teacher (only one in the school with an assistant) who left the building each day to go out to lunch while the assistant
watched the kids. This went on for quite awhile before our other teachers began to complain about the favoritism. We certainly didn't get to go out to lunch and leave our kids with an assistant. She was also given the one visitor's parking spot at the front of the building after somebody supposedly vandalized her car (scratched it) while it was at school. The fact was, anybody's car
could be a victim of vandalism, so why was she being accorded the favored status?

Then there's a sixth grade teacher at our school. She just walks on water. My principal also responds more quickly to her needs and to her referrals than anybody else.

I guess there's just no getting away from favoritism.
