Burning off that extra energy
By Grace

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree with the other post to do some exercises. I had a group two years ago who had a very short attention span. When I saw they were flagging, I got them out of their seats. We did some brain gym exercises which are also
supposed to be good for developing both hemispheres of the brain. These can include, left hand on nose, right hand on left ear- change-right hand on nose, left hand on right ear- keep changing. This is NOT easy. Also elbow to opposite knee and keep changing. Roll hands round each other, then back. Roll them behind your back, above your head, lift one leg and roll them below it.
I
also found that marching on the spot to music was a good thing. Sometimes clap and march, sometimes march on tiptoe, sometimes stamp. You lead, they copy. Good marching music is Liberty Bell or the Radetsky march by Strauss.
Good luck. I hope it works for you. Grace
