Why I love teaching

I love teaching because I love the children. I love the fact that I make a difference in their lives. I love planning, organizing and instructing. I love faculty meetings, books and stickers. I love our secretary, principal| and our custodian. I love computers, new text books and show and tell. I love hands-on science, novels and school lunches. I love inservice workshops, saying the pledge each day and my prep periods. I love show and tell, snow days and summer vacations. I love assessments, happy hours and paychecks. I love copiers (when they work), our new telephone system and my friends at school. | |
I love that this is one of the only jobs that when we have a bad year, we can do it again and try to make it better. What I don't like is complainers, people that do not work hard and still complain, and laziness. I also don't like people that always gripe, but never try to make a positive change. That's what I love about teaching.
